TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Loan Period
The instrument will be loaned at no charge for a period of 12 (TWELE) months from the date of delivery.
The instrument will remain as the property of CRISTOFORI Music throughout the loan period.
2. Delivery and Collection
Cristofori will arrange for the delivery and return of the Piano at NO charge. Standard delivery of 3 to 5 days after order confirmation.
3. Purpose of Rental
a. The Instrument is provided as a free loan instrument to benefit CRISTOFORI Music School student to have an instrument for practice at home or continue their online home-based learning with CRISTOFORI.
b. To support Cristofori’s students for a smooth home-based lesson, the instrument deposit amount is waived.
4. Guarantee of the Piano
a. CRISTOFORI provides 12 months warranty after the delivery of the piano.
b. The piano will be inspected before delivery, and if you still find the piano not in its playing condition, please contact Cristofori Customer Service Center for assistance.
5. Borrower’s Responsibilities
a. To keep the instrument in his/her possession and control, and ensure that it is secured against loss, damage and theft.
b. To keep it in good working order, fair wear and tear accepted.
c. To ensure the serial no, loan labels are not removed, detached or altered.
d. Instrument cannot be modified, shifted or maintain by unauthorized personnel in any circumstances.
e. The instrument shall remain in the possession of the borrower during the rental period and shall not assign, transfer or loan the instrument to others.
f. The use of the instrument is done entirely at the borrower’s own risk and he/she is fully responsible for any accidents arising from the use of the instrument.
g. The Piano must be cleaned regularly with a suitable cleaning agent.
h. No pasting of stickers is allowed on the piano.
i. Do not place treated /heavy object on the piano.
j. Do not try to tune the piano or engaged any Piano technician to tune on the rental piano.
6. Loss or damage
a. Borrower is liable for any damage or loss of instrument during the rental period.
b. A copy of the Piano Technical FAQ is provided. You are encouraged to refer to the FAQ as you will find useful information on the piano functions and maintenance tips
c. If your piano proves to be defective in workmanship or material under normal usage, repair and replacement of parts are free of charge.
d. In the event CRISTOFORI determines that the defect cannot be repaired, CRISTOFORI will replace the defective piano with the same or comparable model in terms of quality, price and age.
CRISTOFORI MUSIC PTE LTD reserves the right to make final judgments regarding the existence and nature of any defects.
7. Additional Piano Accessories
For additional accessories such as piano cover, polisher, key cleaner, cleaning cloth, pedal socks, metronome, piano slow close device etc. borrower may purchase at Cristofori e-shop www.eshop.cristofori.asia
8. Extension of Piano Rental
a. After the 12 months of free rental, Borrower can choose to extend the piano rental by informing Cristofori Customer Service Center 6243 9555 before the piano rental expires.
b. Additional rental period is chargeable at a rate of $100 per month.
c. The minimum rental period is 3-months
d. Payment has to be made before the extendable rental will be effective.
9. Return of Piano
a. To return of the piano will be done within 14 days from the date of expiry.
b. Instrument not returned after the stipulated date, rental will be automatically be renewed at a fee of $100 per month. The minimum rental period is one month.
10. Purchase of Rental Piano
a. Borrower can choose to purchase the rental piano at the end of the rental period.
b. The Purchase Price for the piano will be quoted upon purchase request.
