Sounds
The NPK20 includes a total of 271 high-quality sounds, divided into 7 groups on the top panel. All the sounds have been carefully processed and optimized resulting in a sound selection that is both powerful and rich. The sounds can be chosen or layered intuitively on the panel, such as the sound of piano layered with the ambient sound of orchestra.
The Action
With NU-X’s previous model the NPK10, the first thing you notice when sitting down and playing is how sensitive the action is. It is mindblowing that the weight and response of the NPK10 is possible for a price as low as it is. The NPK20 takes that and runs with it – with optimized key touch curves and sound design. The sense of escapement and the balance of the black and white keys are also more even. Moreover, the NPK-20 has added a key noise reduction design. Ultimately, it meets all kinds of playing and performance needs, and rates very well compared to similar models from other brands.
Equalizer and Compression
Perhaps one of the most exciting things (at least according to George at Piano Traders!) added in the NPK20 is the inclusion of a 9-band Equalizer. You can create and adjust the EQ settings perfect for performing to your environment and devices (amplifiers, headphones, built-in speakers, etc.), store and recall them at any time.
